FIRST!!! That's all I got since it's the quiet time of year now. Oh wait, one thing. When I saw the name Nolan on that list I thought for a split second that they had brought Nolan Patrick back. So glad that's not the case. Dude always had a sour look on his face, and would sometimes give reporters snotty looks and answers when they asked him viable hockey questions. Good riddance!! Thanks!

Thanks Bill! Question: is Jim McCrossin still with the Flyers? Not sure if I read a column recently alluding to a new head athletic trainer? Also, I am a Physical Therapist, do you know what type of shoulder surgery Wisdom had? Thanks!

Bill what's the deal with Linus Högberg? Is he a legit prospect/nhl player? Or will he head back to Europe next year if he doesn't get a shot this year.

Quinn Schmiemann former Tampa draft pick. Doesn't seem like any room on the phantoms to add any dman.

Yes, Jim is still with the Flyers. He is the director of medical services. Not sure of the specifics of Wisdom's shoulder surgery. Can ask.

In my opinion, Högberg is kind of a marginal NHL prospect but I wouldn't write him off, either.

Still on an entry level deal, so he has to. Wade Allison was drafted in 2017, and is still attending.

Seems like Frost has been around forever, hopefully he dominates the camp.

I would think with the injury he suffered and the lack of playing time, he would want to play as much as possible.

It’s clearly just required nothing to do with as much ice as possible.

I suppose it doesn't really matter why he's there. After missing an entire year, he could use reps. It can't hurt him...... oh wait..........

Flyers also like players who have been around to lead in this camp, I hope Frost has a great camp and shows up as a mature prospect with some leadership

If Couturier is getting paid 8.5-9m+ on his new contract then I hope Barkov becomes a UFA. I love Coots as a player, but that Hayes contract combined with 1 more year of JvR is killing the Flyers. I would rather throw 10-11m at Barkov than pay Couturier 8.5+ because that is REALLY risky.

Don't think Barkov will leave Florida but yeah he is the real deal. I don't see that much risk with Coots, I think he will stay healthy and the type of game he plays, he will age well. The big picture with Hayes etc could be problematic

I know this seems like high expectations, but Hayes needs and I mean NEEDS a 20+ goal 65+ season with good consistent play. His contract is just way too damn big for him to float through the season on merit.

What is so risky about Coots?
